Alcatel was established in 2004. It was the result of a joint venture between Alcatel-Lucent of France and TCL Communication of China. The company is the producer of the One Touch mobile and tablet series. Alcatel OneTouch is an international mobile phone technology brand. It designs, creates, and sells around the globe. It is selling a wider range of mobile and internet devices.

The company is popular for its OneTouch range of mobile phones that run on Android. Most recently, there was the release of Alcatel’s latest mobile phone that is the A7 XL. The recent mobile phone was unveiled in September 2017. This smartphone contains various salient features. This mobile set comes with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display. It has the resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.

The Alcatel A7 XL is created by octa-core MediaTek MT6750S processor. It has 3GB of RAM. The phone consists of 32GB of internal storage. Expansion can be made in the storage of the smartphone up to 32GB through a microSD card. The Alcatel A7 XL has a 12-megapixel primary back camera with a high quality. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera.

The Alcatel A7 XL runs on Android 7.0. It is made by a 4000mAh nonbattery and the battery can be removed. It measures 159.60 x 81.50 x 8.65 (height x width x thickness) while its weight is about 175.00 grams.

The Alcatel A7 XL has the feature of a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone. It also accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. It has connectivity options that include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and 4G.

The smartphone maker Alcatel has recently released a new smartphone “U5 HD” at Rs. 5,999 and it is very affordable. This mobile phone will be available on Flipkart soon. The phone has many features that include 5-inch HD display that supports 13 MP back camera. It has an 8 MP front camera along with flash.

Praveen Valecha is the regional director of Alcatel Company. Valecha stated that “With the new Alcatel ‘U5 HD’, first-time smartphone buyers can now enjoy a crisp and clear viewing experience on a 5-inch HD display and some really fun camera features”.

In addition, Valecha said that “This smartphone is designed to give our valued customers the power to get the most out of every moment — all with an appealing price tag”.
